We got to hang at the beach with some of our favorite peeps this weekend.  Isaac loves playing with Emily and Ellie.  He also LOVES the pool.  I think we've got a little water bug on our hands, which we are super excited about!

7 months old

Seven month olds…  this little guy is.  Say what?!?!  SEVEN months.  Yep.

Isaac is such a sweet happy easy going baby. He’s curious and loves to be in the center of what ever is going on. We've had some exciting times this past month:  Celebrated our first Father's Day.  Met all kinds of family at Grandmom's birthday party.  Had his first surgical procedure - had to go under anesthesia.  Had his first boat ride along with getting in the lake.  So much fun!!!

He's eating like a champ - already starting eating solids and taking a sippy cup at school.  We've been dealing with a rash on his cheeks which is from all the drool but no sign of a tooth yet??!?!?  He's scooting really well and so close to getting up on those knees and crawling.

We are making the most of a sunny day. We've had an extremely rainy summer. Isaac loves the water no matter what kind so I found a blow up bathtub we turned into a pool.

**I'm a little behind on my Project 52!  You were supposed to yell at me if I missed a week!!  You're not doing your job!  Oh wait... really that'd be me.  So I'm totally going to post -date this for last Saturday!**

This weekend we headed to Charleston for a little family time with my brother, his 3 sweet girls and our cousin.  And the super bonus of visiting the Hill's is the beach and the pool!  So Isaac got to experience both for the first time and he did great!! He loves the water.  Now we just need to do a better job of getting him in it more often!!

Such sweet times with family.  We are so blessed!!

This past week we celebrated our first Father's Day.  These boys. Goodness.  They are my heart.  Joe is an amazing dad.  He loves Isaac so much.  I love that they have Mondays together.  Their special day every week when it's just the two of them.  

For Father's Day we went to church and then out to brunch at Landmark.  After coming home for a little nap, we headed to the park with the Queens' and Aunt Natty & Jude for a picnic and playing.  It was a great way to celebrate the day!

We had our sweet friends visit this weekend. Bliss, Justin and their two adorable girls just left and we miss them already!

Thanks to some sweet friends, we had an outing to Lake Norman today.  Isaac’s first time on a boat and in the lake.  He did great!!  Needless to say the life jacket was a little annoying and cumbersome but a needed addition.  We had a great day soaking up some rays and splashing in the water!

Two Little Monkey’s Photography

My first Mother’s Day and Isaac’s 6 month birthday fell almost on the say day so when I saw Samantha was doing a special for Mother’s Day, I decided it was a perfect opportunity to have our first photo shoot.

The Saturday before Mother’s Day Samantha from Two Little Monkey’s Photography came out to the house to have our session.  It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, Isaac was in a good mood and Mama was having a good hair day = PERFECTION!  All the things needed for a good photo shoot – well and a talented photographer – so needless to say we were ready!!

As you all know Isaac is a happy baby and the smiles were just a coming!  Samantha was very laid back and just let us play while she watched through her lens.  The only challenge was Isaac wanted to watch her instead of me!  I was very happy with the shots we captured and there’s no doubt I will cherish them forever!
